Each passenger who wishes to make duty free purchases will need their own individual QR code. This QR code is presented at the World Duty Free shop till before the purchase is made. Please note that you cannot purchase duty free products at the LeShuttle Folkestone terminal without presenting a QR code. This process is different for the lead passenger and other passengers in the vehicle.
If you are the lead passenger (the person who made the booking and whose name is on the confirmation), you will receive your QR code via email:
- Once in the booking confirmation email received immediately after making your booking
- Again in the Before You Go reminder email received a few days before your travel date
If you have made your booking through a LeShuttle account and have downloaded the LeShuttle app, you can also save your boarding pass to your Google or Apple wallet. Simply navigate to the "View details" screen of your desired booking and then tap "Add to Wallet". Your boarding pass with QR code will now appear in your device's wallet.
Simply present either of these emails, or your LeShuttle boarding pass saved to your mobile device, with the QR code visible, at the World Duty Free till before finalising your purchase.
If you are not the lead passenger, you will need to fill out a form to generate your own QR code to purchase duty free goods.
Visit leshuttle.com/duty-free and scroll down to the form titled "Register to purchase Duty Free". Fill out the form with your booking reference (taken from the Lead Passenger's booking confirmation) and your details, and click "Register to purchase Duty Free". You will receive a confirmation email containing your QR code.
Simply present this email, with the QR code visible, at the World Duty Free till before finalising your purchase.
