As market leader for pet travel, we know thousands of our customers will be thinking about when, how, if Brexit will affect the Pet Passport Travel Scheme.
Here at Eurotunnel Le Shuttle we are in regular discussions with DEFRA to ensure that any changes to the Scheme are made known as early as possible and are then clearly communicated to you.
DEFRA have advised that you will still be able to travel with your pet to Europe after Britain leaves the EU, however in the event of a ‘no deal’ scenario you may need to take some additional steps to allow your pet/s to travel. They recommend you to contact your vet at least 4 months before travelling to get the latest advice.
